Haskell women defeat Ottawa

Keli Warrior scored a team-high 17 points off of the bench to lead Haskell Indian Nations University’s women’s basketball team to a 72-64 victory over Ottawa, Monday in Coffin Complex.

Warrior shot 11-for-18 from the free-throw line, and also ripped down six rebounds and blocked three shots.

Cerissa Honena-Reyes and Arnetia Begay joined Warrior in double figures with 10 points apiece.

Haskell (9-2) will play next in an exhibition game against Utah State at 8 p.m. Friday in Logan, Utah.
