Additional tickets available for Clinton appearance

An additional 200 tickets have been made available to see former U.S. President Bill Clinton speak Monday on the Kansas University campus.

Tickets are available to students or the general public beginning at 3 p.m. Thursday, the Dole Institute of Politics announced shortly before 2:30 p.m. Tickets must be obtained in person at the Lied Center box office, 1600 Stewart Drive. The tickets, which are free, are reserved seating.

Students are limited to one ticket per person and must present a valid KU student ID. Tickets for the public are limited to two per person.

Clinton is being awarded the 2015 Dole Leadership Prize by the Dole Institute. The award presentation and his appearance are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at the Lied Center. Live stream video of the event will be broadcast online at doleinstitute.org.

Tickets were first doled out the morning of Nov. 9, and the roughly 1,100 tickets available were gone within a matter of hours.
