• Golf Course Management magazine, the official monthly publication of the Lawrence-based Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, has been recognized with 15 awards in the annual Turf and Ornamental Communicators Association Communications Contest. The magazine was given four first-place awards and 10 merit awards. Howard Richman, the magazine’s associate editor, was recognized with the organization’s Plant Health Writer of the Year Award.
• Golf Course Superintendents Association of America was announced as one of Interactive Health’s Healthiest Companies in America for 2014. A total of 158 companies were recognized across all 50 states for the contest.
• The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce has announced Midwest Coatings Inc., TriLion Studios and The Trust Company as the newest members of the organization.
• Buckle Inc. has announced Claire Little as the new manager of the Lawrence location, 805 Massachusetts St. Little has been with the Buckle since 2010. Most recently she worked as a manager in Goodlettsville, Tenn.
