Lawrence golfers place at Olathe

Olathe ? Free State’s Jack Flynn was third and Lawrence High’s Braxton Olson eighth to pace the city high schools at the Olathe North Boys Golf Invitational on Monday at Falcon Ridge.

Flynn shot 73 to lead the Firebirds to a fifth-place showing in the team standings with 328. SM Northwest won with 301. Lawrence was a stroke behind and tied with SM West for sixth.

Olson shot a 76.
