Tecumseh ? Senior Hannah Reussner scored the game-winning goal to send the Free State girls soccer team past Shawnee Heights in double overtime, 2-1, Tuesday in its season opener.

Freshman Maya Hodison set up Reussner with the assist and seal the Firebirds’ comeback victory.

FSHS trailed, 1-0, at halftime, but Reagan Sullivan scored the equalizer to force overtime.

Free State will play Shawnee Mission East on Thursday.
