KU baseball trips Tech, 7-4
Lubbock, Texas ? Michael Tinsley, Connor McKay and Matt McLaughlin each had three hits, and Kansas University’s baseball team opened Big 12 play with a 7-4 victory over Texas Tech on Friday night.
KU starter Ben Krauth (5-2) struck out eight in 62/3 innings and earned the victory.
The Jayhawks (10-15 overall, 1-0 Big 12) will meet Texas Tech again at 2 p.m. today and 1 p.m. Sunday.
