Veritas Christian’s baseball team opened its inaugural season with a 4-3 victory over St. Mary’s on Tuesday.

Weston Flory tossed three no-hit innings and had two hits and two RBIs. Tucker Flory added a double, RBI and four innings on the mound, while Regen Hirt had an RBI, Jackson Rau hit a double and Jacob Johnson stole two bases.

“You never know what you have until you play the game and needless to say we were thrilled with tonight’s result,” Veritas coach Trent Flory said.
