Kansas golfers tied for first in desert

? Kansas red-shirt freshman Brock Drogosch found himself at the top of the leaderboard Thursday after Day One of the Desert Shootout after carding a round of 6-under 66 to help put the KU men’s golf team in a tie for first place.

The Jayhawks are tied with Wichita State and have all six golfers in the top 25.

Drogosch is tied with Tulsa’s Colton Staggs for the lead, and Chase Hanna, Jacques Wilson (unattached) and Daniel Hudson rounded out a trio of Jayhawks who are four shots back at 2-under 70. Connor Peck and Ben Welle capped the day for Kansas with rounds of even par-72.
