Today in Lawrence: A taste of Japan comes to the Arts Center
Get outside
Another beautiful spring-like day is in store today, starting out in the mid-30s and a high expected to reach near 70 and partly sunny skies by midday.

Kansas University’s Center for East Asian Studies is bringing a little bit of Japan to Lawrence today. From 6-9 p.m. today, the Lawrence Arts Center will host the Lawrence JapanFest, a free event featuring family friendly activities designed to teach about the traditions of Japan. Activities include a tasting of Japanese teas and sweets, a Three Trails Taiko drumming performance and a short film about the world of Japanese anime.
