Cliff Alexander to play for Brooklyn Nets in Orlando, Vegas summer leagues

Former Kansas University forward Cliff Alexander, who was not selected in the 2015 NBA Draft, will play for the Brooklyn Nets for their Summer League teams in both Orlando and Las Vegas, the New York Post reports.

The Post’s Tim Bontemps writes: “It’s unusual for an undrafted player to play for one organization in both summer leagues — a sign the Nets could have interest in bringing Alexander to training camp and possibly beyond, and perhaps having given him some guaranteed money, though there was no confirmation of that.”

“Brooklyn could have interest in keeping him beyond that (summer league),” Tweeted Jeremy Woo of Sports Illustrated.

Alexander on Twitter retweeted a post that said he would be playing for the Nets.
