Hot, humid Monday afternoon expected in Douglas County

A heat advisory will be in effect for Douglas County and northeastern Kansas from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday.

The National Weather Service in Topeka expects Monday will be hot and humid, with temperatures nearing 100 degrees and heat indices between 103 and 109.
