Kansas University’s basketball players are taking a course for credit this semester on South Korea.

“Basically they are spending four weeks in class learning about their culture and helping us prepare going over there,” KU coach Bill Self said. “We’ll do some things in the class once we get to Gwangju. Then we’ll come back and have another week to finish class up. It will be educational and our players will get something out of it. They’re going to have to work for it.”
