Paschal Chukwu, a 7-foot-2 center who recently announced plans to leave Providence after his freshman season, completed his visit to KU on Thursday.

KU has filled its allotment of 13 scholarships for the upcoming season, so if Chukwu ultimately chose KU over Nebraska, Virginia, Michigan State, Iona and Syracuse, he’d have to either pay his own way a year or somebody would have to leave KU’s program.
