Favorite things about Lawrence? I recently bought a bike and I love that I’m within biking distance of lonely country roads.

Who would you want to have dinner with, living or dead? Audre Lorde. I’m reading her book “Sister Outsider,” and the way she thinks about emotions in writing is the same way I do.

What is your spirit animal? A peacock because the moment it flashes its plume, you know it’s intense and brightly colored, and I’m an intense presence too.
