City Band concert moved to Murphy Hall due to inclement weather
Wednesday night’s Lawrence City Band Grand Finale concert has been relocated because of inclement weather.
The concert will start at 8 p.m. at Room 130 in Murphy Hall on the Kansas University campus. Typically the concert is held at the William Kelly Bandstand in South Park, 1141 Massachusetts St., but there are thunderstorms in the forecast and a tornado watch is in effect for Douglas County until midnight Wednesday.
The concert is free and open to the public.
