BHS girls rout Eagles
Wellsville ? Five Baldwin High girls scored in double figures Monday as the Bulldogs notched an easy 82-32 victory against Wellsville in the opening game for both basketball teams in the Wellsville Top Gun Classic.
Baldwin bolted to a quick 8-0 lead.
Behind a full-court press and an effective running game, the Bulldogs went on a 20-1 run at the start of the second half and removed any chance for a Wellsville comeback.
Leading the way for the Bulldogs was 5-foot-10 senior Maddie Ogle with 15 points.
Baldwin will play Frontier League foe Spring Hill on Thursday for a spot in the tournament’s finals.
