Seabury boys roll into finals at McLouth

? A collective effort helped the Bishop Seabury Academy boys basketball team beat Pleasant Ridge, 58-45, and advance to the championship game of the McLouth tournament Friday.

Though the Seahawks (6-3) won the game, they might have lost leading scorer Mikey Wycoff after he aggravated an ankle injury.

“It looks like he’s going to be out for a while,” Seabury coach Ashley Battle said. “Maybe a couple of weeks.”

Zach McDermott helped fill Wycoff’s void by scoring 21 points, and Thomas Uhler chipped in 14.

The Seahawks will play Olathe Heritage Christian in today’s championship game.
