Area high school basketball: Eudora slips into title game

Tonganoxie — Mitchell Ballock collected 21 points and seven rebounds, and Avery Rouser and Austin Downing each added nine points as Eudora High’s boys basketball team edged Holton in a Tonganoxie Invitational semifinal on Friday.
Ballock hit nine of 18 field-goal tries, eight of 11 two-pointers and both his free-throw attempts.
Eudora (9-2) will face Atchison in tonight’s championship game.

Baldwin City — Kansas City (Kansas) Harmon reeled off 14 straight points in third quarter to pull away from Baldwin in a Baldwin Invitational Tournament semifinal game.
Baldwin senior forward Robert Holliday knocked down three-pointers on his ways to a game-high 21 points.
Harmon will play Bonner Springs in the championship game today. Baldwin will play in the fifth-place game against KCK Bishop Ward.

De Soto will play in the third-place game against Silver Lake at 1 p.m. today.
