Baldwin City ? Baldwin High’s girls basketbasll team jumped on Highland Park from the opening tip Wednesday and coasted to a 51-17 non-league victory.

After giving up the game’s first field goal, Baldwin scored 14 straight points. Three baskets in the opening flurry came from 6-foot senior center Alexia Stein, who finished with eight points. BHS senior Maddie Ogle led all scorers with 12 points.

The Bulldogs (9-1) will face Wellsville on Monday in the Top Gun Classic.
