Kansas City, Mo. — Kayleigh Boos led the Seahawks with four points in a one-sided high school girls basketball loss to University Academy on Friday.

The Seahawks (1-4) will face Veritas Christian Academy at 6 p.m. Monday in the McLouth Tournament.

Baldwin City — Baldwin (8-1) won its fourth straight game.

Baldwin dominated from the start, breaking out to an 8-0 lead. Benefiting from the Bulldogs’ running game was senior Maddie Ogle, who often beat Spring Hill defenders down the floor on her way to a game-high 21 points.
