Eudora ? Tori Huslig scored 26 points, but Veritas Christian fell to Wichita Sunrise Christian, 44-33, on Thursday in high school girls basketball.

Veritas trailed by just one point, 11-10, after the first quarter but was outscored 11-2 in the second quarter and trailed 22-12 at halftime.

“The first quarter, I thought we played real well,” Veritas coach Kevin Shelton said.

Emma Wilson added five points for the Eagles.

Veritas (5-3) will play at 3 p.m. Saturday against Derby Invasion in Eudora.
