Point guard Frank Mason III, like most in attendance for Kansas University’s 67-57 win over Oklahoma State Tuesday night at Allen Fieldhouse, left the game impressed with a vicious one-handed dunk by freshman forward Cliff Alexander in the first half.

“That was extreme. I thought he was just going to do a regular, old jump-hook, but he didn’t. It was extreme,” Mason said.

Minutes: Brannen Greene, who played three minutes the first half, did not play in the second half. He was removed after not going after a rebound hard and did not return. Self said it was coach’s decision. Svi Mykhailiuk did not play (coach’s decision).
