The Lawrence Cultural Arts Commission is accepting submissions for its Annual Community Arts Grant Program.

Through the program, the city of Lawrence awards grants totaling $7,000 to support collaborative projects between artists, arts organizations and other community organizations and businesses that will benefit the larger community.

Applicants who wish to address these goals must have a Lawrence address, and proposed projects must be carried out within city limits.

Grant application materials can be downloaded online, or can be picked up at the Lawrence Public Library, City Hall and the Lawrence Arts Center during regular business hours. The deadline to submit proposals is 4 p.m. March 23.
