Salina ? Miles Dressler scored 18 points, and Chad Stieben and Drake Napier scored 13 apiece as Veritas Christian defeated St. Mary’s, 66-63, on Saturday for third place in the KCAA-2A boys basketball tournament.

Kalim Dowdell added nine points, and Weston Flory scored six for the Eagles, who finished 23-5.

“We’re extremely proud of the kids,” Veritas coach Carl Huslig said, “and we’re very excited about the future.”
