Austin, Texas ? Kansas University moved up a spot into fourth place Thursday at the Big 12 women’s swim meet.

Chelsie Miller broke her own KU record in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:58.37.

KU’s Sammie Schurig placed seventh in the 500 freestyle, and Madison Straight was eighth in the 200 IM.

Texas (402) leads after day two of the four-day meet, followed by Iowa State (205.5), TCU (158.5), Kansas (150) and West Virginia (140).
