Kansas softball falls to OU, 13-0

Oklahoma handed Kansas University’s softball team its worst loss of the season Saturday, shutting out the Jayhawks, 13-0, at Arrocha Ballpark.

The Sooners held the Jayhawks to two hits: both singles from Maddie Stein and Erin McGinley.

OU jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first, and then put the game away with a four-run fourth and five-run fifth.

Kansas (35-9, 5-6) will try to take the rubber match of the three-game series with the Sooners at noon today at Arrocha Ballpark.
