A very pleasant, sunny Tuesday is in store. Temperatures will start the day around 50 and reach the mid-60s under sunny skies by lunchtime. It will get up to 68 in the late afternoon before cooling back down to the 50s under clear skies by the evening.

Happy birthday, Bob

The Lawrence Arts Center is dedicating its Tuesday Concert Series to Bob Dylan, one of the most influential and important singer-songwriters of all time, to honor his musical legacy (and his upcoming birthday). Six musicians/bands — The Heebie Jeebies; Bob Garrett; Zo-Glo-Fitz-Black; Marianne Carter, Maria Anthony & Darrell Lea; Graham Barnes; and Larry Carter & Greg Pelligreen — will be performing some well-known Dylan favorites, along with the occasional obscurities. The 7 p.m. event, to be held in the Arts Center lobby, is free to attend, but tips are welcome.
