Tonganoxie ? Tickets for next month’s Abadllah Shrine Rodeo and Demolition Derby in Tonganoxie are now on sale.

The annual event, set for May 21-23, will be at the Leavenworth County Fairgrounds. The rodeo, an a area tradition since 1950, takes place May 21-22. The demolition derby, which was added in 2012, will be May 23.

Rodeo tickets are $12 for adults and $4 for children ages 4-12. Demolition derby tickets are $12 for everyone ages 6 and older.

New this year is a swap meet, which runs 7 a.m.-7 p.m. May 22 and 23 and offers a wide variety of auto parts and accessories for sale. Family fun packs (two adult tickets, two children’s tickets and four meal deals for $40) are available for the rodeo nights. On May 16, the price goes to $50. Tickets can be purchased online at ShrineRodeo.com, at Brothers Market in Tonganoxie, and at the gate.
