Texas tennis blanks Jayhawks

? Kansas University dropped every set in a 4-0 Big 12 tennis loss to No. 31-ranked Texas on Sunday at the Caswell Tennis Center.

After losing two of three doubles matches to surrender the doubles point, the Jayhawks lost three straight-set singles matches as Nos. 3, 5 and 6 to end their regular season 8-14 overall, 4-5 in the league.

KU will travel to Waco, Texas, for the Big 12 Championships, Thursday through Sunday. The sixth-seeded Jayhawks will face Oklahoma State on Friday.
