Chief lessons

Kansas City Chiefs President Mark Donovan will deliver the KU School of Business 2015 Vickers Memorial Lecture at 7 p.m. at the Lied Center. The topic of Donovan’s lecture will be “Lessons in Leadership.” Donovan has worked in the NFL for 17 seasons, including seven with the Chiefs. The event is free and open to the public.

Be a Volunteen

Teenagers interested in volunteering at the Lawrence Public Library this summer are invited to learn about what opportunities will be available at a Summer Volunteen Info Meeting from 7-8 p.m. at the library, 707 Vermont St. The program is open to youths ages 13-18 who are still in school.
