Lake Quivira ? Free State High’s Jack Flynn tied for 10th overall at the Shawnee Mission Northwest Golf Invitational on Monday at Lake Quivira

The meet also served as the first of three rounds of the Sunflower League championship. In those standings, Flynn stood in a tie for fifth. FSHS teammate Jack Junge shot 78 and was tied for 14th overall, tied for ninth in the league, and Tate Steele shot 81 to tie for 20th overall, 12th in the league.

Dawson Dykes led Lawrence High with an 82. He was tied for 24th overall, 16th in the league. LHS teammate Cole Brungardt tied for 39th (and 28th) at 87, and Garrett Wildeman was a stroke back, tied for 42nd and 31st in the league.

Free State was fifth overall with 323 strokes, good for third in the league standings. LHS shot 350 to place ninth overall, seventh in the league.
