Kickoff for KU vs. Oklahoma State set for 3 p.m., Oct. 11

Bowen's home debut to air on FOX Sports 1

The mid-afternoon kickoff trend will continue at least one more Saturday for Kansas University football.

The Jayhawks will play host to Oklahoma State at 3 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 11. The game will be televised on Fox Sports 1, the Big 12 Conference announced on Monday.

It will mark the first home game for newly named interim head coach Clint Bowen, a Lawrence native who played defensive back at KU.

The sixth game of KU’s 2014 season will feature the team’s fifth consecutive mid-afternoon kickoff.

KU will face Oklahoma State for the 65th time in the history of the two programs. The Cowboys lead the Jayhawks, 32-29-3, all time and, 18-15-1, in games played in Lawrence. OSU has won four consecutive games in the series.
