LHS girls tennis tops Manhattan
Kendall Pritchard, Caroline Baloga, Natalie Cote and Erin Ventura claimed victories in both singles and doubles, and Lawrence High defeated Manhattan, 6-3, in high school girls tennis Thursday at LHS.
Pritchard, Cote and Ventura won their matches 8-0, and Baloga was an 8-1 winner. Baloga teamed with Cote and Pritchard teamed with Ventura for 8-0 doubles triumphs.
“I thought the bottom part of our varsity played very well,” LHS coach Chris Marshall said. “We competed.”
The Lions will entertain Free State on Tuesday.
