Portion of K-10 to be reduced to one lane for SLT project

A portion of westbound Kansas Highway 10 will be reduced to one lane until mid-November as part of the South Lawrence Trafficway project.

State transportation officials said the portion of K-10 near the Noria Road intersection will be reduced to one lane beginning Thursday to accommodate the delivery of large amounts of soil that will be used to build an overpass near the Noria Road intersection.

The lane closure is expected to last through mid-November, or longer, depending on the weather. The lane closure will affect only westbound traffic on K-10.
