Baldwin City ? Baker University withstood a Sterling rally when Duane Sims blocked an extra-point kick with 1:17 remaining, and the Wildcats claimed a 31-30 college football victory Saturday night.

Baker held a 31-17 lead early in the fourth quarter before Sterling rallied.

Adonis Powell scored on runs of 77 and five yards and totaled 163 yards on 15 carries for Baker.

The Wildcats (2-0) will meet Evangel next Saturday in Springfield, Missouri.
