Free GED Ready tests available to public Oct. 1

The Lawrence Adult Education Center is offering free GED Ready tests to the general public in October.

The practice test is design to evaluate how ready an individual is to pass the official GED test. The results of the practice exam come with a list of areas that need improvement a personalized study plan that provides a test-taker with the exact pages and chapters to study in specific study books.

The general public can sign up to take the test on Oct. 1 at either 1:30 or 6 p.m. Students of the Adult Education Center can take the test anytime classes meet between Sept. 23 and Oct. 3.

Members of the public can sign up by calling 785-832-5960 by Sept. 30 or stopping by the Adult Education Center at 2145 Louisiana St.
