We love summer, but we are more than ready to stock up on our fall favorites! We especially love fall style because of the stylish shoe options.

My personal favorite would have to be ankle boots. They go with everything and there are so many different styles to choose. You can wear them with dresses, skinny jeans or even shorts. But don’t limit yourselves to just walking around in ankle boots this fall because there are other shoe styles that are just as fabulous.

Boots

Boots are a staple for fall so if you haven’t yet, be sure to stock up on them. You can never have too many boot options in fall and winter. Ankle boots are the most popular style for fall. We suggest buying a style in a neutral color, especially if you are splurging a little because they will go with so many different outfits. We both have a light brown pair and a black pair or ankle boots that are in our rotation. Find a style with a shorter chunky heel so you’ll be comfortable walking around in them.

Tall riding boots are a must-have this season as well. They look great on everyone and go with everything; it’s a win, win!

Flats

A great pair of flats is essential to a stylish and properly stocked fall wardrobe.

Flats can be slipped on with dresses, denim, shorts and skirts. Flats usually aren’t too expensive so you can buy a few different colors to add to your collection. But like we’ve said before, if you’re splurging, then go for neutral. Make sure you get flats that are comfortable and flexible because these should be your go-to comfort shoes.

Casual slip-ons

These slip-on shoes have replaced the casual sneaker. They typically don’t have laces and come in many different colors and patterns. The best part is that they are usually very affordable and you can find them just about anywhere. We love wearing these with denim, but you could also wear them with a casual dress or shorts.
