KU-CMU kickoff set for 2:30, Sept. 20

The Kansas University football team doesn’t figure to need the lights for its second home game of the season.

The Big 12 Conference announced Monday morning that KU’s kickoff for its Sept. 20 home match-up with Central Michigan at Memorial Stadium was set for 2:30 p.m. The game will be televised by FOX Sports Net.

The game will mark the Jayhawks’ first appearance on FSN in 2014 as the Jayhawks appeared on the network two times in 2013.

Kansas leads the all-time series with CMU, 1-0, with a 52-7 win to its credit as the two teams squared off in the 2007 season-opener in Lawrence.

The Jayhawks (1-0) travel to Durham, North Carolina, this weekend for a 2:30 p.m. central time kickoff against Duke (2-0). The game will be televised by FOX Sports Midwest+ and those who regularly get FOX Sports Midwest should get the alternate channel as well.
