A haunting Victorian freak show of emotional deformities, the showman Edward Gant has scoured all the continents of the globe to bring you a freak show of the mind and heart. Edward Gant’s Amazing Feats of Loneliness: A Traveling Freak Show of Emotional Deformities is co-produced by Card Table Productions and the Lawrence Arts Center. Catch it at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 New Hampshire St.

Have a Hallowed ball

Grab your little vampires, princesses, goblins and clowns and head to the Arts Center for a Halloween hullabaloo! Lawrence Ballet Theatre and the School of Dance present the Halloween Monster Ball. Everyone is invited to attend in costume and head downtown after the performance for trick or treats. The Halloween Monster Ball is at 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 New Hampshire St.

Dorm of doom

Oliver Residence Hall will be the site of Halloween in the Hall, in which Lawrence children may trick-or-treat with Student Housing residents from KU. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Halloween in the Hall is from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Oliver Residence Hall, 1815 Naismith Drive. (Trick-or-treating will be on the third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors of Oliver.)
