Stillwater, Okla. ? Kansas University’s Maria Jose Cardona and Maria Belen Ludueña dropped an 8-4 decision to a team from Oklahoma State in the semifinals of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Regionals on Monday.

“We had some opportunities in the first set and just didn’t play the big points as confidently as we needed to,” Kansas coach Todd Chapman said. “Later in the match, OSU played really well and things snowballed a little bit.”
