Douglas County District Attorney Charles Branson announced Wednesday that a jury convicted a Wichita woman of felony theft between $25,000 and $100,000.

Erica C. Ricke, 32, was a former office manager at Gage Management, 2201 W. 25th St., in Lawrence, and was responsible for accepting rent checks and making deposits. Between 2009 and 2011, she pocketed thousands of dollars from rent payments, according to a news release.

The jury deliberated for two hours before reaching its verdict.

Ricke faces 11 to 34 months in prison and will receive her sentence Nov. 4. The case was investigated by the Lawrence Police Department, who also made the arrest.
