Olathe ? Free State’s volleyball team split its matches Tuesday at the Olathe South triangular, defeating O-South and falling to Olathe East.

The Firebirds dropped the Falcons, 27-25, 18-25, 26-24, and lost to the Eagles, 25-17, 25-12.

Naomi Hickman and Sydney Moreano 10 kills apiece, while Paige Corcoran held things down defensively with 16 digs. Lauren Johnson and Payton Gannaway added 16 and 14 assists, respectively.

Free State (10-12) will next Oct. 9 against Leavenworth and Shawnee Mission West at SM West.
