Residential trash pickup routes for the city of Lawrence.

Sunshine, rain

Look for mostly sunny skies today with a high of 46 degrees. There’s no rain in the forecast during the day, but the evening brings a 30 percent chance early in the night and partly cloudy skies later. Low overnight will be 34 degrees. High winds are back on Wednesday, but Thanksgiving promises to be sunny.

Trash reminder

There are changes to residential trash pickup this week if your regular trash pickup day is on Thursday. Customers living north of 23rd Street/Clinton Parkway will have their trash and recycling picked up today. Those living south of 23rd Street/Clinton Parkway will have their trash and recycling picked up on Wednesday. For recycling routes, only recycling week #2 customers who live west of Kasold Drive will be affected.

Grateful Dead covers

Lawrence Arts Center’s Tuesday Concert features Maria Anthony and Darrell Lea, who will perform a set of fan favorites and rare treasures from the collected works of the Grateful Dead. The set will feature songs and lyrics from Jerry Garcia, Robert Hunter and Donna Godchaux, as well as insight into myths and legends surrounding these songs. The show is at 7:30 p.m. at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 New Hampshire St. More details at www.TuesdayConcert.com.
