Kansas University volleyball coach Ray Bechard announced the signing of two players to letters of intent on Monday.

Patricia Montero, a 5-foot-10 outside hitter from Ponce, Puerto Rico, and Ashley Smith, a 6-foot outside hitter from Las Vegas, signed to replace outgoing senior hitters Chelsea Albers and Sara McClinton.

McClinton was named Big 12 Offensive Volleyball Player of the Week on Monday.

McClinton tied her career high with 18 kills and no errors Wednesday at Kansas State.
