KU’s Morgan seventh at regional meet

? Kansas University junior Jacob Morgan placed seventh in the men’s race, and KU finished 13th Friday at the NCAA Midwest Regional cross country championships. KU finished 14th in the 32-team women’s race, led by sophomore Nashia Baker, who took 85th.

Other KU men’s placings: James Wilson 69th, Chris Melgares 78th, Tyler Yunk 82nd and Carson Vickroy 101st.

Following Baker for the KU women: Kelli McKenna 89th, Courtney Coppinger 95th, Rachel Simon 96th and Hayley Francis 104th.
