The Comfortable Clog Style

I think it’s safe to say it’s now sandal weather, thankfully!

There are so many amazing and new shoe styles out there for spring and summer, and even some from the past that are making a huge comeback. We went to the hub of shoes in Lawrence, aka, Foxtrot, 823 Massachusetts St., to bring you the best styles to sport this season.

1) The Birkenstock Style

Yes, Birkenstocks are back in style! Foxtrot had a unique take on the original Birkenstock sandal with a platform.

We would suggest wearing these with a casual summery dress (long or short) and simple jewelry.

This style of sandal is laid-back so you should style them accordingly.

2) The Edgy Style

This shoe is totally our style, so we had to mention it. Everyone needs that edgy shoe that you can wear out on the town. These fit the bill perfectly. They have a back cutout with another ankle strap detail, peep toe and chunky heel. What more could you ask for?

The cutout, peep-toe shoes are huge this spring and summer. They are almost like the summer version of the fall ankle boot. Create an edgy contrast and style them with a feminine dress, or throw them on with pants or skinny jeans and a cute top!

3) The Short-Heel Style

Anything with a short, chunky heel or a short wedge is totally on trend this season, and Foxtrot had an abundance of these. There were so many it was difficult to pinpoint our favorite.

Not only does the shorter heel make it easier to walk in, but the versatility of these is unmatched. You can wear them with dresses, shorts, jeans — the list goes on!

4) The Flat Style

Flat sandals or just plain old flats are always good to have in your closet.

We spotted some yellow flat sandals that are so sleek and simple, but the yellow color is striking. These are also super versatile so you can wear them with anything from casual maxi dresses to cutoff shorts.

5) The Comfortable Clog Style

The clog sandals are also back in a big way this season. They tend to have more of a vintage style that we love. They also give you height and comfort.

Style this sandal with your midi skirts and dresses for a cute vintage look.
