KU business school to launch new part-time accounting master’s

This fall the Kansas University School of Business will launch a new part-time master’s program in accounting at the Edwards Campus in Overland Park.

The program is meant for working professionals with undergraduate degrees in accounting who want a master’s to increase their earning potential or advance into management roles, the school said.

Called the Working Professional Master of Accounting, the program will hold evening classes. Courses will be taught by the same instructors who teach the full-time master’s classes on the main campus.

Course topics include financial accounting, forensic accounting, project management, internal audit, accounting research and more.

Those interested can sign up in the spring, summer or fall. For more information, go to EdwardsCampus.KU.edu/MAcc.
