Topeka ? A bill to repeal the state’s endangered species act has been killed for the 2014 legislative session.

Senate leaders struck the measure without comment on Monday.

The bill would have repealed the 1975 law that puts the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism in charge of identifying and undertaking appropriate conservation measures for endangered species.
