Lawrence High’s track and field team was forced to wait one more day to begin its season.

The Topeka West Relays were postponed Thursday because of rain and winds. Instead, the Lions will make up the event by participating in the Free State Invitational at 3:30 p.m. today at FSHS.

LHS will not participate in the Topeka Relays on its makeup date.
