Several area basketball players were honored on the 2014 Northeast Kansas All-League basketball team.

McLouth High senior Nick McAferty was named to the boys’ second team, while McLouth senior Kayla Steffey was selected to the girls’ second team.

Junior Meghan Jackson and Oskaloosa High sophomore Haidyn Bassett earned honorable mention for the girls’ team, and McLouth senior Drew Cerny and Oskaloosa senior Bryce Stottlemire were given a honorable mention for the boys’ team.
